- OData.Easily integrate your FileMaker data into your other apps and services with the popular, REST-based integration standard, OData — now on Windows and macOS, in addition to Linux.
- Live Text and QR code support.Expand your data capture capabilities. Add QR code data and Live Text from images to your FileMaker files (available with the latest Apple operating systems).
- FileMaker WebDirect OAuth scripts.Add OAuth sign-in buttons to your custom websites via JavaScript.
- GS1 barcode support.Scan GS1 barcodes on your iPad and iPhone with expanded barcode support.
- Data migration tool enhancements.Streamline data migration when updating files in multiple languages. Plus, now developer tools are all available for free.
- JSON calculation function improvements.Determine if your JSON syntax is valid with the new JSONGetElementType calculation. Prevent errors and save time while troubleshooting.

- Ubuntu 20.04.Get enterprise-grade Linux with support for Ubuntu 20.04 LTS in Claris FileMaker Server. Includes support for the latest third-party libraries, security features, and performance enhancements. Runs on open-source NGINX for high-performance web serving.
- Save a Copy as XML.Generate XML representations of your FileMaker files on FileMaker Server at lightning-fast speeds. Get better automation capabilities, granular audit control with version tracking, and easier integration with third-party developer tools.
- Server-side summaries.Speed up data processing for groups of records with server-side summarization.
- Parallel backups.Automatically group related backup files together and run them simultaneously for more efficient processing.
- Cancel backups.Easily cancel backups if the process is interrupted or another operation needs to be performed for easier maintenance.
- fmp URL protection.Protect hosts from connecting to malicious clients with proactive warning notifications.
- Increased memory cache.Perform memory intensive tasks more effectively on the FileMaker Server scripting engine with 4x increased cache.
- FileMaker WebDirect performance improvements.Experience improved FileMaker WebDirect performance with server-side CSS caching.
- Bug fixes.FileMaker 19.5 includes nearly 400 bug fixes. These improvements span across security, installation processes, and calculation functions, as well as Script Workspace, FileMaker WebDirect, FileMaker Admin API, and much more.
